J
ack Jack is a 1.5 year old Bluetick Coonhound. He is fully vaccinated neutered and microchipped. He is a big sweetheart and loves to be around his humans. He is very sociable and loves to greet everyone he passes by, even children. He enjoys playing with all dogs at the dog park and on group dog walks. Jack walks well on a leash using a head halter type lead. He does like to sing his hound song when he sees small critters (squirrels, birds, cats, etc.) or when he gets excited, but he is easily redirected with cookies.

Jack is house and crate trained, he can be left alone for a normal work day without any issues. Unfortunately Jack would not suit a home with cats as his instinct causes him to chase them. He would love to have another dog to play with. Jack is still young and does jump up on people when really excited but he is learning to sit politely for cookies or a toy. Jack would excel with some positive reinforcement training classes to build his bond with his human. He learns quickly and loves to please.

All of our dogs are fully vetted.  They have been vaccinated, altered, microchipped and heartworm tested and on prevention.

LOCATION:  Jack is currently in foster care in Thunder Bay, ON.  With the help of volunteers, transportation to her forever home can possibly be arranged.  Don't let distance deter you!
